Introduction
Upload-Here gives you shareable upload links. You send a short URL to a customer, they drag & drop files into it, and the files are uploaded directly into your own cloud storage — Amazon S3 (or any S3-compatible service), Google Cloud Storage or Azure Blob Storage.
File contents never pass through Upload-Here. Our server only signs short-lived upload URLs; the customer's browser sends the bytes straight to your bucket.
How it works
- Connect your storage. In Dashboard → Storage, add credentials that are allowed to upload into your bucket. Follow the guide for your provider:
- Create an upload link. In Dashboard → Upload links, choose the bucket and an optional folder, add a title and instructions for your customer, and optionally an expiry date or a maximum file size.
- Share the link. Your customer opens
https://new.upload-here.com/u/<id>, drops their files and watches them upload. You'll see every upload in the dashboard.
You can also create links programmatically with the REST API.
Where do files end up?
Files are stored as <folder>/<original file name>. If a file with the same name already exists — or your credentials don't allow us to check — a timestamp is added to the name (for example report-20261107-140322-k3x.pdf), so nothing is ever overwritten.
Large files
Uploads are split into chunks (8 MB or more) that are sent in parallel and retried automatically. There is no file size limit on our side; providers allow up to 5 TB per file on S3 and Google Cloud.
